I definitely like these products. Some dont always live up to the claims, but for the price you cant beat them. I recently placed a fairly large order, and love every product i bought. I only spent 30 dollars with shipping and everything, it was well worth it. Only one complaint, target doesnt carry enough of the desireable products. There is not much of the essentials line that I want and thats mostly what target carries, therefore I simply shop online. I participated in the 6 free lip products sale, all I had to do was spend 25 dollars and I got 6 free studio lip products FREE!!!! Very nice, I suggest checking them out if you havent already.

Naked or Naked2?

I need your help guys….I can not decide which palette to buy. I like both naked and naked 2 but i cant afford to buy both at the moment. I know that the original naked palette is geared toward warmer skin tones, and the naked2 is for cooler skin tones. I have a cooler skin tone, but i lean toward the colors of the original naked palette. This is a dilema for me, so I definitley need y’alls help. I have a $50 gift certificate I got for my birthday, so I want to buy one of these palette’s, but which one?

Ok so, I am addicted to YouTube as well as makeup! This is just a list of my favorite youtubers to watch, they are ranked by my faves:

-The best I’ve ever seen, and I am definitely addicted to YouTube beauty vids. I have watched almost all of the videos and have learned more from Emily than anyone else. She is so sweet and knowledgable, I trully trust her and feel completely comfortable trying out techiques and products that she reviews or shows us.

Facial Mask Review

For this blog post I decided to try something new. I have started using Facial Masks and have fallen in love with them. I decided to review two of the ones I have been using that have shown the best results so far. First product is the Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask, the great minty smell and cool sensationon on your skin makes this a very good product. Second product is the Yes to Tomatoes Face Mask, the almost cinnamon-y smell and the quick drying makes it comparable to the previous product.

Queen Helene Mint Julepe Mask- The jar of this product claims that it “helps dry up acne pimples, rinses away blackheads, and helps shrink large pores.” While using this product as directed 2-3 times a week, I did see a different in the size of my pores and the amount of blackheads I had. I dont want to make a statement about any acne pimples, because I am not really sure if this helped or they healed on their own. The smell of this product is great, but you better like mint if you are going to use this it is definitley strongly scented. It takes about 15 minutes for it to dry completely and leaves your skin feeling very soft and automatically noticeably different. It is also very well priced, and comes in many sizes and styles of containers. Overall rating of 4.

Yes to Tomatoes-This ninety eight percent natural product is enriched with lycopene(from tomatoes) and dead sea mud. It has add salicylic acid to help with breakout, and also claims to clear blackheads. I also used this product as directed, again 2-3 times a wee. My acne did get better over time, and my skin tone was more even. The smell of this product is very odd though, it is hard explain but it is kind of cinnamon-y/fragance-y/muddy smell. I am not fond of putting fragrance on my skin, because I have sensitive skin. This product did not break me out. That is one of the downfalls, another is the packaging. The tub this product comes in is already small, and on top of that they DO NOT fill it up. It was about half full when I bought it. It is expensive too! It is about fifeteen dollars for a 1.7 ounce tube. Overall rating of 2.5.

I definitley plan on buying the Queen Helene Mask again, but not the Yes to tomatoes. I dont have the world’s largest pocket book, so I have to shop wisely. I always like to put a moisturizer on after using masks so my face doen’t dry out, especially during the winter time. I hope this review was informative and not too outrageous.
